In the Empordà, we recommend a visit to the Dalinian Triangle formed by the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, the Dalí House-Museum in Portlligat, near Cadaqués, and the Gala Dalí Castle in Púbol, in the Baix Empordà.

This tour will give you an in-depth insight into the life and work of Salvador Dalí.

The Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres

The route of the Dalinian Triangle begins in Figueres.

In Figueres you can visit the famous Dalí Theatre-Museum. Just seeing the building itself is worth it. But you can’t miss the inside of the museum and get to know Salvador Dalí’s most iconic works in depth.

The Dalí House-Museum Castle Gala Dalí in Púbol

In Púbol you will find a medieval castle converted into a House-Museum. It is a castle that Salvador Dalí bought as a gift for Gala, his wife.

The Salvador Dalí House-Museum in Portlligat

To finish the tour of the Dalinian Triangle, you must reach Cadaqués, in the Natural Park of Cap de Creus. There Dalí bought a fisherman’s hut, now converted into a House-Museum. Over the years, they enlarged that first small hut, joining it with other neighbouring huts. This is the place where Gala and Dalí lived and worked regularly, until 1982, with Gala’s death, when he was moved to Púbol Castle.
